Baby Pie's Room Inspiration

What a fun weekend! Corey was golfing with the boys in Owen Sound and it sounds like they all had a blast. Meanwhile, us girls were in Markham visiting and hanging out. We went stroller shopping - with great success and had lots of fun!

I thought since I didn't have many pictures I would put up one of the inspiration for the baby's room. Since we love rustic, we (well o.k. mostly me and my mom) thought that this would be perfect! My mom ordered this set which I am very excited. Perfect for little baby pie! Let's just hope that three ultrasounds showing that it's a little boy are right and we don't get a surprise and it's a little girl because she will have to like moose and bears :)

Also thought I would put up a pic of what stage the baby is at. It's kinda neat. He has been rocking and rolling non-stop! Pretty neat to see your belly move like waves!

32 weeks.... Ahhh.... 8 weeks to go.... scary to think we are going to be parents.

About Baby at 32 weeks: By now, this little one is just over 4 lbs and is nearly 17 inches long, taking up a lot of space. I should gain about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to the baby - thank heavens its not to my back end :). In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.
Hope you enjoyed this little bit of info....

10 Weeks to Go...Count down is on!

Hello... Sorry it's been a month since my last post. The last four weeks have been a little crazy. On the long weekend we had both Rick & Betty and my mom and Al come to help us put down our new floors. What a difference! NO MORE PLYWOOD!!!!!! Yes... I am a little happy about that. They look amazing! It was a very busy weekend but so productive.

Corey has been very busy with work and working almost 7 days a week. He has been busy with his photography and did a four day photo shoot for an outdoor survival company. Pretty exciting. His new camera is the cats meow.

In baby land everything is great! This little guy is such a mover and a shaker! He moves non stop - or so it feels like it. We had our last doctors apt in Toronto and don't have to go back until this little one is 6-8 weeks. My belly feels so big and I can't imagine how it's going to grow even more. It's stretched out pretty good. Pretty happy with myself, even after all the chocolate bars and chocolate milks and ice creams I have eaten I have only gained 20 lbs to date.

Had my last ultrasound last week and I was so excited to get some more pictures and to see this little guy one more time before he arrives but he decided that he was going to be camera shy and had his two hands right in front of his face the whole time. I did get to see his lips and because it was a 3D utlrasound I could tell that he has Corey's lips. It was pretty neat! He is already 3 lbs 8 oz and is at the 68th percentile for size. So not huge yet but not small either for 30 weeks. My biggest fear is that he is going to be like most Pietryszyn's and be a big boy with a big head! Corey was over 9lbs and I was only just under 6 so I am hoping for somewhere in the middle.

June is also going to be a crazy month with making product for a store and going to Markham for a girls weekend and then working on the long weekend! I told Corey that July is going to be all about baby and to relax a little if we can!

Well again sorry for the delay and sorry for this long post... Lots to catch up on. Must get to bed as it is way past my bedtime. Sleeping is getting a little more difficult with my belly getting in the way. Hope all is well and everyone is happy and healthy!

Love Stacy, Corey and Baby Pie!
