Parker meets GG (Great Grandma) and smiles!

Sorry it’s been over a week since I posted some pictures. It’s been a busy week with doctor’s appointments, meeting family & friends and just being a baby! Parker met Great Grandma Maria on Sunday and it was great! GG was so happy to meet the newest generation of the Pie family. Parker was excited too. We also went to Uncle Jody and Auntie JJ’s new house and met Lelaigh (newest four legged family member) and sadly dropped off Grandma after she was here for two weeks. Parker and I also went to visit with Cooper (see pic) and Heidi.

Parker, Daddy and Tasha also had a great time playing on the new floor! Parker was like a little go cart racing on the floor and Tasha had a blast following them!

Today was great! I swear that Parker smiled at me! We were singing songs and there it was! Then I put him in his favourite chair – lights up and he just loves it and he smiled again. No gas smiles but actual smiles…. Check out the picture for yourself! Must go… Parker is getting fussy…

Oh… getting high speed next week so it will be easier for us to get more pictures up! Yippee!!

Just also wanted to share with you how amazing it has been having Parker in our lives. We are settling in as parents and enjoying every moment. I love watching Corey with his son and how wonderful a dad he is. Even though I put in my two cents all the time and shouldn't (that's me) Corey has been patient with me during this adjustment period (thanks Hunny) and is so gentle, loving and wonderful with Parker. Daddy gave Parker his bath last night and it was Parker's first bath that he wasn't screaming bloody murder (except for when we took the picture of course).

We had Parker's doctor's appointment yesterday and all is well. Not as big as I thought he was as he was weighed in his birthday suite (which he hates being cold) and is only 6lbs 9 oz. But the doctor was not too concerned. She said he should gain weight from now on.

Well must go as he is starting to fuss as it's lunch time for him.

New Pics

Just a few new pictures of Parker. (first pic with Hannah - so cute!) Things are great today. He's just chillin' with Grandma Bernie on the bed as I work on the computer. We had another great night last night as he slept for 5 hours in a row! He's eating like a little horse and hopefully his little grandpa bum will become a real little chunky hinney! So cute! Had another bath last night and hopefully will have some of those pics for you all as soon as Corey downloads them off his camera. Today we are going into town to do some groceries and do some visiting. Bye for now... love Parker!

Introducing Parker Quinn Andrews Pietryszyn!

Hello Everyone!

I know the news is out... Our little angel has arrived 2 1/2 weeks early! My water broke on Wednesday August 1st at 8 pm and Parker was born on August 2nd at 5:40 in the am. Pretty amazing having him in our lives! He's alot smaller than expected - weighing in at 6lbs and 12 oz at birth. It's been alot of fun. We are tired but enjoying every moment - even the screams during diaper changes. Have put up some pics and will be updating alot more frequent than I did during the pregnancy. Bye for now,
